Rotary Club of the Bronx News

At the Rotary Club’s Tuesday, August 25 meeting, Toby LaCrown, club president, welcomed Colonel Arthur DeRuve to give a talk serving as a tribute to our troops and veterans.

Col. DeRuve served two years with the 2nd Armor Division as a Cold War Solider in Germany and he remained as Military Liaison Officer for West Point.

He spoke about the wars and conflicts that the United States has found itself in, stretching back to the American Revolutionary War.

He believes that we will only have peace through strength and that our strength is our military.
