Fancy Feet At

Walt Disney World

Fancy Feet dancers performed on the Walt Disney World stage in Downtown Disney back in July.

They performed two, 30-minute shows at the Orlando, FL theme park, reports the local dance school.

People stopped to watch and cheered them on. Several people even asked where the closest Fancy Feet was so they could register their children. It was such a proud moment for the students and their families.

Fancy Feet offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, gymnastics, pointe and mommy and me.

They have a specialized program for children 18 months to 12-years old.

Their teen program is exactly what teens need in dance. Fancy Feet has organized and Broadway styled recitals that entertains everyone. Their National Championship Dance Team has dominated the competition circuit.

Warrior For A Day

DeWitt Clinton High School graduate Temitayo Afolayan has served in the U.S. Navy for three years as an aviation machinist’s mate and is currently a petty officer. She was selected from a crew of more than 4,500 sailors as the U.S.S. Harry Truman’s Warrior of the Day for Monday, November 23.

Promotion To

Senior Engineer

Brian Tyler, from Riverdale, was promoted to senior engineer at OLA Consulting Engineers, based in Hawthorne, NY. OLA Consulting Engineers does all types of building systems analysis, design, and commissioning.

Tyler, with OLA since 2005, is part of the firm’s Mechanical Engineering Services Group.
