Notable Passing

Barbara Capodiferro passed away on Tuesday, January 12. She passed away in Florida, but is originally from the borough. She was born May 9, 1945 to parents who lived near White Plains Road. She is survived by her loving husband Dominick; daughters, Stacy, Vicky and Donna; grandchildren Briana, Samantha, Dylan, Gavin, Gabriel, Skylar, Daniel and Chase and by her sister Carole.

Guest of Dr. Oz

Dr. Jane Fitzgerald, a chiropractor located at 3170 E. Tremont Avenue, was a guest of the Dr. Oz Show during a recent taping in Manhattan. Jane got to go backstage and watch the taping of the program before a live studio audience.

Jane and Dr. Mehmet Oz were introduced by a mutual friend.

Birth Announcement

Alexa Grace Canella was born to parents Jennifer and Nicholas Cannella of Throggs Neck. Proud maternal grandparents are Stephenie and Victor Germon and proud paternal grandparents Lucille and Peter Cannella.
