Star Hurdler

Congratulations to 15-year-old Adia Palmer of Metropolis. On Saturday, July 15, she came in first place at the Amateur Athletic Union’s National Club Championship’s 15- to 16-year old girl’s 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.9.

The championship was held on Orlando, FL.

Birth Announcement

Baby Matteo John Di Pierro was born at Lawrence Hospital on Saturday, April 8 to proud parents Melissa and Michael Di Pierro.

The baby was eight pounds, 12 ounces.

Family were there to welcome Matteo John: Auntie’s Amanda Doran and Carolyn Doran were also present for the birth, giving moral support to the mommy and daddy. Brother Michael, sister Rebecca and cousin Alessandra along with MiMa Carel Doran, PopPop Stan were waiting with open arms for the arrival of Matteo. Everyone was so very anxious to see the new addition to the family.

Friends and family all came to welcome Matteo and congratulate Melissa and Michael with a lifetime of happiness and love.
