American Legion Riders Event

The Bronx County American Legion Riders will sponsor a ‘Festival Day and Bike Show’ at Samuel Young American Legion Post #620 near Westchester Square on Sunday, October 15.

The event honors veterans and family, according to event organizers.

It features a motorcycle show, live music, face painting, volleyball, 50/50 raffle, horseshoe tossing and bike challenge.

There will be a trophy given to the best bike.

You can attend the event for a donation of $20. Kids from 3-years-old to 12-years-old attend free.

Come and spend a day with family, friends and veterans, and help ‘support our troops.’

Birth Announcement

White Plains Hospital reports the following birth announcements:

Alessio Michael LoVasco was born on Friday, August 11 to Alessandra and Michael.

He weighed six pounds. His grandparents are Pasquale and Maria Mazzella of the borough.
