Residents and law enforcement gathered together for Monday, October 26 candlelight vigil outside of the 49th Precinct to honor the memory of slain police officer Randolph Holder, who was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday, October 20. On this ‘day of solidarity’, precincts across all five boroughs held simultaneous vigils at all 77 precincts. Candles for the 49th Precinct’s vigil were provided by the Guyanese Community at the Vishnu Mandir, Hindu Temple and the Bharati Dance Academy.
