Community and law enforcement members honored the memories of 9/11 victims and a late 49th Precinct lieutenant at the 15th annual Lieutenant Thomas
Clesse Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 10 in Pelham Parkway.
Participants, young and old, ran in the race which began on Eastchester Road continuing on Pelham Parkway to White Plains Road and returned to Pelham Parkway.
The yearly tradition was created in 2001 after the terrorist attacks to honor the victims and pay tribute to Clesse who passed away from cancer in 2000.
