Sunday, June 19, 5:30 a.m. — A forcible touching incident occurred to a 23-year-old woman. The victim was accosted in front of 2268 Waterbury Avenue when someone grabbed her from behind, pulled down her stockings and grabbed her buttocks. The victim screamed and the assailant fled the scene.

The person police are looking for is described as a 35-year-old Hispanic man about five feet and five inches tall with a stocky build and a light complexion.

Tuesday, June 28, 6:00 p.m. — An assault occurred when two people became involved in a verbal dispute on Taylor Avenue.

The argument escalated and one of the people arguing pulled a knife on a 42-year-old victim, cutting him on the left side of his face.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated. The person cops are looking for is a black man who is about five feet and ten inches tall.

46 Precinct

Wednesday, June 29, 9:15 p.m. — Cops were dispatched after a 911 call was made about a man who was shot opposite 1920 Walton Avenue at a playground.

Police found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the lower torso when they arrived on the scene.

The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he later died on Thursday, June 30.

Sunday, May 29, 2:45 a.m. — The theft of a cell phone prompted a grand larcney complaint.

Inside the Woodlawn train station, a suspect stole a 27-year-old woman’s cell phone from her hand while she was sleeping.

Using tracking software, the victim traced her phone to a wireless store at 1286A Southern Boulevard where the suspect had attempted to sell the phone.

The suspect is described as a black man who was last seen wearing a T-shirt with white Roman numerals and graphic of the Eiffel Tower.
