Hostos Community College hosted the 32nd Annual GrowTogether Conference this past Saturday, March 19 which featured more than 70 exciting workshops for gardeners of all ages. With GrowTogether’s largest crowd to date at more than 1,600 attendees, Tanya Fields, BLK Projek founder and executive director, served as the event’s keynote speaker and discussed such topics as composting, vegetable growing techniques, methods to increase garden membership and children’s gardening activities.
