Youth Speaks, a free, annual event coordinated and hosted by the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program in partnership with Councilman Andy King, commemorated its 10th anniversary on Wednesday, April 20 with a conference at M.S. 113. Co-founder Councilman King; guest speakers NYC School Chancellor Carmen Farina and Jeff Tweedy, Sean John executive were joined by other elected officials and community leaders. The forum focused on bullying, classism, stereotypes, ethic and healthy living.
