The Bronx American Legion saluted our borough’s fallen 947 World War I soldiers and our veterans from other wars during last Wednesday, November 11’s ‘11th Hour Ceremony’ held at the Winged Victory Memorial in Pelham Bay Park. This emotional memorial event featured a veteran salute to the flag and the playing of taps to pay respects to our nation’s brave warriors.
