It was one of the coldest winter days across NYS, but it didn’t deter scores of men, women and children in a Bronx community from attending Eta Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.’s annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service with a Community Giveaway. The McKinley Community Center was filled with Bronxites who braved the cold weather on Monday, January 21, the day of observance for Dr. King’s 90th birthday.
