Montefiore Health System associates and leaders joined adjacent to panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt on Thursday, June 27 to recognize Montefiore’s longstanding achievements in HIV/AIDS treatment and the communal grief of lives lost in the AIDS epidemic. In partnership with The Names Project Foundation, Montefiore is currently displaying panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt at three sites throughout the Bronx: Montefiore Moses Campus at 111 E. 210th Street; Montefiore Weiler Campus at 1825 Eastchester Road and Montefiore Wakefield Campus at 600 E. 233rd Street. Montefiore is the only health system participating in the initiative, and the only Bronx location where panels from the quilt are on display.
