On Thursday, June 11 a ribbon cutting ceremony marked the re-opening of Montefiore Medical Group Family Health Center at Fordham Plaza. The Montefiore Medical Group Family Health Center recently expanded and relocated to a new state-of-the-art facility offering comprehensive medical care and new specialty services for the entire family as well as same-day appointments and walk-in services, health screenings, regular checkups, prenatal care and wellness programs. In addition, Montefiore’s board-certified multi-lingual physicians and nurse practitioners provide preventive care, such as flu shots, as well as a wide range of specialties managing chronic conditions including diabetes, asthma and heart disease.
