In honor of Bronx Week, Councilman Andy King, Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and the the Bronx River Alliance joined in launching the Amazing Bronx River Flotilla at Shoelace Park on Saturday, May 18. Bronxites paddled south on the 23-mile long Bronx River from Shoelace Park to embark on an incredible journey to Hunts Point Riverside Park.
