The Bronx Chamber of Commerce toasted several local Irish American leaders at its time honored Irish Heritage Celebration Luncheon on Thursday, March 15 at Rambling House. This year’s exemplary honorees included NYPD chief of department Terence Monahan; Noreen Lydon O’Donoghue, GPJ O’Donoghue Contracting Marketing and Public Relations director and Emerald Isle Immigration Center Woodlawn founding member; Michael McNerney, Country Club Civic Association president; Martin Galvin, Freedom for All Ireland Ancient Order of Hibernians NYS chairman; Kevin Alter, Dougert Management Corp. senior vice president and Brian Murphy, retired NYC Transit Maintenance supervisor.
