Friday, February 17 at 12:10 a.m. — Police received a report of a burglary of a storage room at an apartment building near Hoe Avenue and East 172nd Street. They took miscellaneous items. The individuals are described as two black men between 45-years-old and 50-years-old. Police have video and photographs of the individuals.

43 Precinct

Friday, February 17 at 7:10 a.m — Cops took a robbery report from a cabbie. A 44-year-old cab driver picked up a person in front of a bank branch at Boynton Avenue and Westchester Avenue. He was taken to Bruckner Boulevard and Wheeler Avenue. The person hailing the ride pulled out a gun and demanded money. The individual is described as a black man with a dark complexion and weighing about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and tan pants.

Sunday, February 19 at 1:10 a.m — Cops are looking for a black man between 20-years-old and 25-years-old in an attempted rape and a robbery. The victim, a 34-year-old woman, was approached from behind by the individual near Westchester and Metcalf avenue. He put a knife to her neck and then took her pocketbook before pulling the victim into an alley. He placed his hand inside of her skirt and touched her genitals. When the victim screamed, the individual fled the scene. The victim went to Jacobi for evaluation. The person police are seeking was of average height and build with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.

45 Precinct

Wednesday, February 22 at 6:29 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed in front of 1001 Logan Avenue. When they got to the scene, they found a 44-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his torso. He was unresponsive. He was taken to Jacobi where was pronounced dead. A 51-year-old man, believed to be his landlord, was taken into custody.

49 Precinct

Friday, February 2 at 10:57 p.m. — A food delivery man was the victim of a robbery as he entered the lobby at 2802 Olinville Avenue. A man and a woman punched and kicked him in the face and body. While the victim was on the ground, the two people rummaged through his pockets, taking an iPhone 5S and cash. The victim suffered only minor injuries. The man is Black with a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a blue hoodie, camouflage pants and black boots. The woman is Black with a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, navy blue pants and black shoes.
