Police have made an arrest in the homicide of Zoila Feliz.
Her ex-boyfriend Darrin Rose, 22, of 480 E. 188th Street, was arrested on Thursday, November 2 and faces charges of murder, manslaughter, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
According to the NYPD, 43rd Precinct police officers discovered three-months pregnant Feliz, 22, with her throat slit inside 1161 Stratford Avenue on Wednesday, November 1 at 12:48 a.m.
She was pronounced dead on arrival by first responders.
The Medical Examiner ruled Feliz’s death a homicide.
Neighbors said Feliz’s mother found her daughter’s body with her unharmed 2-year-old grandson just a few feet away.
