41 Precinct

Monday, August 14 at 7:45 p.m. — Cops got a report of an attempted rape near Leggett Avenue and Southern Boulevard. An individual described as an Hispanic man in his mid-20s, followed a 13-year-old female into an apartment building’s stairwell. Once in the starwell, he attempted to put his hands down the front of her pants and to remove her clothing by force. The victim fought off the individuals, who fled. He is about five feet, five inches tall and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, white sneakers and blue jeans.

42 Precinct

Friday, August 18 at 1:20 a.m — A 52-year-old man was walking along Park Avenue when two individuals approached him from behind. One had a black gun. They took $60 off of the victims person, as well as a wrist watch. The pair then fled in an unknown direction.

43 Precinct

Wednesday, August 30 at 4:30 p.m. — Police received a report of a robbery at chain pharmacy at 925 Soundview Avenue. A tall black man who weighed about 180 pounds and has a dark complexion took items at knife point. He was looking at merchandise when a Loss Prevention Officer at the location saw him removing items from the shelves and placing them in his pants. The officer confronted the man who took out a knife. The store employee, who was now in fear for her life, yelled to her co-workers as the individual quickly fled to the exit with the knife held firmly in his hand. He fled the scene with a bluetooth headseat and two powerbanks.

46 Precinct

Friday, July 28 at 5:17 p.m.– Cops responded to a robbery inside of a a supermarket at 126 Featherbed Lane. An individual described as an Hispanic man with a dark complexion grabbed a 55-year-old man from behind. He knocked him to the ground and stole his gold chain, fleeing the store on foot. The individual appeared to be in his thirties and had black hair. He was last seen wearing gray pants and a white shirt.

52 Precinct

Thursday, August 31 at 6:17 a.m.– Cops responded to a call of a 911 unconscious man in the back of 2921 Briggs Avenue. Arriving on the scene they found a 15-year-old man on the ground with trauma apparently from falling. EMS took the man to St. Barnanbas Hospital and he was pronounced dead. A primirary investigation found that the 15-year-old had fallen from a fifth floor fire escape. The NYC Medical Examiner is looking into the case.
