40 Precinct

Thursday, June 21 at 5:00 p.m. — Police got a report of a burglary. A 23-year-old man with a dark complexion and a tattoo of a Superman symbol on his torso obtained the keys of a 25-year-old woman and entered her apartment near 3rd Avenue and East 143rd Street. Once inside, the man took a variety of electronics and a wallet with a debit card, I.D. and approximately $600 cash.

43 Precinct

Tuesday, June 27 at 10:15 a.m. — A 34-year-old man was the victim of an assault and robbery as he was walking on the sidewalk near 1315 Castle Hill Avenue. While on his way to work, he encountered a black woman in her 20s and a black man who is between 18-year-old and 20-years-old. He was punched in the face by the man several times. He was knocked to the ground. The man took the victim’s wallet from his pants and fled the location with the woman in a white car. The victim had visible injuries but he refused medical care at the scene.

45 Precinct

Monday, July 17 at 4:34 a.m. — A man wearing a hat, short sleeved shirt and jeans threw a brick through the window of a parked, unoccupied and unmarked car belonging to the NYC Department of Environmental Protection. He then fled on Westchester Avenue. The incident has been classified as criminal mischief.

47 Precinct

Tuesday, July 25 at 6:43 p.m. — Cops responded to a call about a man stabbed near Eastchester Place and Hollers Avenue. When they got to the scene, they found a 25 year-old man who had been stabbed in the torso. They were able to determine that the victim had been involved in a dispute with a group of individuals. EMS took him to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The incident has been labeled a homicide.
