40 Precinct

Monday, June 12 at 10:24 a.m. — Cops responded to an auto collision involving a pedestrian struck near Walton Avenue and East 138th Street. Upon arriving on the scene, officers determined that a 28-year-old pedestrian man was hit by at least one vehicle traveling on East 138th Street near Walton Avenue. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital with head and body trauma. He was later pronounced dead. Further investigation revealed that he was struck by two different vehicles, one of which may have been a cab. One left the scene but then came back to speak to officers. The other stopped momentarily, before leaving the scene and not returning.

41 Precinct Friday, May 26 at 11:45 a.m. — A 32-year-old woman was walking past 840 Westchester Avenue when someone approached her from behind and placed his hands between his legs and grabbed her groin in a forcible touching incident. The individual is described as a black man, about 25-years-old, brown eyes, dark complexion, beige shorts, black sneakers and a black shirt.

42 Precinct

Saturday, June 10 at 8:30 a.m. — A black man approached a 53-year-old man in front of a business near Washington Avenue and East 165th Street. The suspect then did assault the victim with his fists on the face and head. This caused bruising and cuts. The suspect tried to remove some cash from the victims pocket, but his attempt was unsuccessful. He then fled the location on foot, going westbound on East 165th Street. The suspect is a black man who is 20-years-old to 30-years-old, five feet, seven inches and 170 pounds.

44 Precinct

Monday, May 29 at 4:44 a.m. — An assault was reported to cops at the Stadium Gourmet Deli on 109 East 161st Street. Two people threw bananas and avocados in the direction of a 21-year-old man who was a deli employee following a dispute over a food order. The victim suffered a cut to his face, facial fractures and a broken jaw. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital in serious but stable condition.

49 Precinct

Wednesday, May 24 at 12:30 a.m. — A robbery was reported to cops. A 42-year-old man was walking past 1950 Cruger Avenue when one of three people in a group put him in a headlock and put a knife to his throat. Two other people removed an undisclosed amount of cash and a cellphone from his pants. The victim suffered a bruise to the face. Two of the people were Hispanic men about 20-years-old and the other is black man about five feet, seven inches.
