Thursday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. — A robbery was reported to cops near East 165th Street and Boston Road. Two unidentified individuals forced their way into the apartment of a 29-year-old man, the victim of the robbery. They had a gun and demanded valuables from the victim. They took a laptop computer before fleeing the scene. No physical injuries were reported because of this incident.

43 Precinct

Sunday, May 28 at 2:29 a.m. – Cops responded to a 911 call concerning a pedestrian struck by a car on the Cross Bronx Expressway near Castle Hill Avenue. After some investigation, it was determined that an adult man was walking northbound on the Cross Bronx Expressway between the Castle Hill Avenue and White Plains Road exits when he was struck by a number of vehicles, all of which did not remain on the scene as required by law. EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

47 Precinct

Wednesday, May 17 at 12:50 p.m. — A robbery was reported to cops at White Plains Road and East 212th Street. According to the report, a 65-year-old man who was the victim was approached by a black man who was had an ice pick and used the threat of force to get the victim to hand over $1,000 in cash. The suspect then hurled the victim to the ground and stole his chain valued at about $2,500, before fleeing the scene. The suspect has a slim build and dreadlocks.

Monday, May 22 at 10:58 a.m. — Cops got a report this date and on Thursday, May 25 at 2:40 p.m. about an unknown person who approached two victims from behind and took their cellular telephones by force. The person took the phones right out of the victim’s hands on trains arriving at an East 233rd Street station. The person, who fled the train both times, is described as a Hispanic teenage man weighing about 140 pounds and wearing black Nike Jordan sneakers.
