Arturo Schomburg Senior Center residents were treated to a special Mexican dance performance in honor of Cinco de Mayo on Wednesday, May 4.
Dancers Alberto Lopez and Edith Ortiz performed a Mexican Danza to commemorate Cinco de Mayo which honors the Mexican army’s victory over the French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
