41 Precinct

Wednesday September 21 at 12:05 p.m. — Cops got a report of a grand larceny at Southern Boulevard and Barretto Street. An unidentified man took a cellular telephone from a 58-year-old man’s back pocket. The person police are looking to question is an Hispanic, between 20-year-old and 29-years-old, about five feet, seven inches tall and 135 pounds.

42 Precinct

Saturday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m. — A homicide was recorded after police received a 911 call about an unconscious infant inside of 635 Jefferson Place’s apartment #2A. When they arrived on the scene, cops found an eight-month-old black male who appeared unresponsive. EMS responded to the scene, and transported the baby to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Later, the death was ruled a homicide because the baby was found to have sustained abusive head trauma.

45 Precinct

Tuesday, October 11 at 10:20 a.m. — Police found a woman dead on arrival after responding to a fire in a residence at 4120 Hutchinson River Parkway in Co-op City. When the fire was extinguished, a 68-year-old woman was found inside of an apartment and was transported to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased.

49 Precinct

Tuesday, October 11 at 1:50 p.m. — Four unidentified individuals entered a residence near Hunt and Holland avenues by breaking a window of a residence belonging to a 22-year-old man who was a victim. Once inside, two of the men took out guns and demanded the man’s property. One of the robbers fired a shot into the floor, and then took a cell phone and headphones before fleeing on foot towards Morris Park. The people entering the apartment are described as a black man and three Hispanic men.
