40st PCT.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 7:46 p.m.. — A 26-year-old male was crossing over Union Avenue at East 155 thStreet when he was struck by a black Ford Taurus with Pennsylvania plates that was traveling northbound on Union Avenue. The victim was transported to Lincoln Hospital with head trauma. The driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old Josue Gago, was involved in a verbal dispute earlier in the day with the victim and allegedly intentionally hit the victim with the vehicle.

47nd PCT.

Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1:30 a.m.. — Police responded to a call regarding a robbery. Two suspects approached a 60-year-old female as she was standing at the corner of Lurting Avenue and Burke Avenue. The suspects asked the victim for her purse. When she refused, the suspects displayed a knife and demanded her purse. The victim complied and the suspects fled towards Lurting Avenue and Boston Road. There were no reported injuries.

48th PCT.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 7:56 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of two people shot in front of 724 E. Tremont Avenue. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a 25-year-old male and 34-year-old female both shot in the torso.

Monday, Sept. 21 . — A police responded to a 911 call of an assault in the vicinity of East 189th Street and Beaumont Avenue, within the confines of the 48 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his head while seated in the driver seat of a green Lincoln Town Car at the location. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

50th PCT.

Tuesday, Aug. 25, 11:00 a.m. — Police officers responded to a 911 call for an unconscious male at 4582 Manhattan College Parkway. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 39-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his head and torso. EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased.

52 PCT.

Sunday, Sept. 20, 3:39 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 call for a male shot at East 194th Street and Briggs Avenue. Upon arrival, police observed a 24-year-old male on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot in the torso. EMS responded to the location and transported the male in critical condition to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
