Senator Klein’s ‘Fundamentals of Gardening’ begins at New York Botanical Garden

The first class of Senator Jeff Klein’s ‘The Fundamentals of Gardening’ was held at the New York Botanical Garden on Saturday, March 5. Klein visited the class, the first in a series, where instructor Daryl Beyers discussed feeding, mulching, planting, pruning, watering and weeding. Throughout the series, students will learn from NYBG horticulture experts the basics of gardening, vegetable growing and budget-friendly gardening.
