Assemblyman Victor Pichardo hosted a press conference on Wednesday, May 18 at 3108 Webster Avenue highlighting legislation he authored to improve wheelchair accessibility in NYC’s for-hire taxi and limousine industry. Joined by Livery Roundtable, NYS Federation of Taxi Drivers, Black Car Assistance Corporation and Prestige Car Service, Pichardo discussed his legislation which plans to create a centralized dispatch service for wheelchair accessible transportation controlled by the city’s Taxi and Limousine Commission.
