Car Erupts Into Flames On Bruckner

A car fire on the northbound Bruckner Expressway at Middletown Road caused traffic delays during Wednesday’s rush hour.

According to a FDNY spokesperson, the car erupted into a fireball on Wednesday, October 12 at 5:07 p.m. on I-95 North.

Three FDNY units and 13 firefighters responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported in the incident which remains under investigation at this time.
