Permits have been filed for the construction of a 7-story residential building at 2216 Aqueduct Ave. in the University Heights neighborhood of the Bronx.

Located between Buchanan Place and West 182nd Street, this proposed development would be 65 feet tall and yield 17,258 square feet of residential space.

A total of 25 residential units would be included in the building. With an average unit scope of 690 square feet, the apartments would likely be rentals. In addition to the rental units, the building would also feature a rear yard measuring in at 36 feet long, as well as eight open parking spaces.

The proposed development site also has convenient access to public transportation. Within close proximity is the 183rd Street subway station, which is served by the 4 train.

The property is owned by Plungeri LLC. The architect of record is listed as Jakov Saric of Node Architecture, Engineering, Consulting P.C.

Demolition permits are not required since the site is a vacant lot. An estimated completion date for the proposed work was not provided in the permits filed.
