Permits have been filed for the construction of a 4-story building with 12 residential units at the vacant lot at 1131 E. 211th St. in the Williamsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx.
The proposed building would be 50 feet tall and yield 7,002 square feet of residential space. With an average unit scope of 583 square feet, the 12 residences will most likely be rentals.
A rear yard spanning 52 feet in length is also planned for the property. However, accessory parking was not included in the proposal. The property is located within close proximity to the Gun Hill Road subway station, which services the 2 and 5 trains.
The applications were submitted by Etai Vardi of Blackstone Real Group LLC. The architect of record is listed as Jakov Saric of Node Architecture, Engineering, Consulting PC.
Since the property is currently just a vacant lot, it is unlikely that demolition permits will be needed. An estimated completion date for construction has not yet been provided.
