In honor of April being National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Administration for Children’s Services, NYC Parks and New Yorkers for Children hosted a Saturday, April 16 Party for Prevention at St. Mary’s Park. This free, fun-filled, family friendly event featured live musical entertainment and performances; fun activities like rock wall climbing, face painting and arts and crafts; workshops; health screenings; FDNY safety and education; CPR training and NYPD Operation Safe Child ID sessions.
A hands-on CPR training session was hosted by the FDNY.
