Police have released details of a shooting which hospitalized a 16-year-old boy in Soundview on Easter Sunday.
The victim, who was walking with two friends in front of 1802 Story Avenue was approached by the gunman at about 9:05 p.m., according to the NYPD.
He then drew his weapon and started shooting at the group repeatedly, grazing the 16-year-old’s head.
The group managed to run inside of the building at 1802 Story Avenue and escape from the shooter, who fled to parts unknown.
The victim was treated at Lincoln Hospital and later released, police released this footage of the suspect.
That individual is described as having a dark complexion with a medium build; he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat jacket, black jeans and white sneakers.
