City Harvest and BronxWorks hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of Los Hermanos Meat Grocery’s grand opening at 501B Jackson Avenue on Tuesday, August 27. City Harvest purchased a new refrigerator for the corner store to help increase the business’ produce and fresh food offerings. During the celebration, Los Amigos de Moore, a group of senior volunteers from BronxWorks E. Roberts Moore Neighborhood Senior Center, performed a healthy cooking demonstration using ingredients available at the store.
