Senator Jeff Klein announced $30,000 in funding for Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club at Kip Bay’s annual ‘Day for Kids’ on Saturday, September 24 at Kips Bay Boys and Girls Lucile Palmaro Clubhouse. Through Klein’s funding, Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club increased enrollment at its popular P.S. 304 and M.S. 101 afterschool programs for children to learn swimming, basketball, ice skating, soccer and kickball. Children will also receive academic counseling and homework assistance from instructors, participate in a performing arts program and enhance their technical skills.
