King, Youth Rally Against Gun Violence

In honor of National Gun Violence Awareness Month, Councilman Andy King hosted an anti-gun violence rally and community prayer march on Monday, June 5.

King honored the memories of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton who was shot and killed in Chicago and the victims of violence in the 12th Council District including an 11-year-old boy who fled an attempted rape by a teenage man armed with a knife.
