The NYC Council’s Black, Latino and Asian Caucus held a press conference on Friday, March 24 on the steps of City Hall to demand a targeted response by the NYPD to the fatal stabbing of Timothy Caughman by 28-year-old White supremacist James Jackson of Baltimore.

The council members also requested a meeting with NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill to discuss the ways in which the department plans to investigate this act of violence.
