Assemblywoman Latoya Joyner, 161st Street Business Improvement District and community volunteers helped revitalize Nelson Playground as part of Joyner’s innovative month-long outreach initiative on Thursday, August 10.
Joyner and several other volunteers raked leaves, collected and discarded trash, repainted fences and painted over graffiti at the local park.
Assemblywoman Joyner (4th row, c), 161st Street BID volunteers and the High Bridge Advisory Council staff and children were ready to clean up Nelson Playground.
