The John Fraser Bryan American Legion Post 19 presented the family of World War II veteran Norman E. Moore with a special patch for his service.
Anthony and Bernadette Ferrara were given the patch honoring their late stepfather’s participation in the Battle of the Bulge, which took place in the Ardennes Forest in Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany from Dec. 16, 1944 to Jan. 28, 1945. Moore served in the United States’ 101st Airborne Division.
The Ferraras were presented with the patch by John Fraser Bryan American Legion Post 19 member Earl Menard.
Moore died on July 22, 2020, at the age of 95.
