Jacobi Hospital toasted a few medical professionals at its annual Spring Gala awards ceremony on Thursday, May 10 at Villa Barone Manor. This year’s exemplary honorees were Sumir Sahgal, MD, Essen Health Care chief medical officer and founder; Maria Castaldi, MD, Jacobi Hospital Breast Service director and Jeannie Torres, RN, Jacobi Hospital Unit 4A head nurse.
