Sixteen years later, Bronxites showed they haven’t forgotten the tragic events and victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

On Monday, September 11, Jacobi Medical Center hosted its annual morning memorial service at the permanent 9/11 Memorial on its Pelham Parkway campus.

The somber memorial featured a moment of silence, prayers and the ceremonial laying of flowers at the monument listing the names of Bronxites who perished in the World Trade Center attacks.
