The Hunts Point Produce Market merchants hosted the annual Hunts Point Gives Back on Saturday, November 17 at 1230 Lafayette Avenue. Working closely with 41st Precinct Community Affairs, local elected officials and the Hunts Point Produce Market’s Next Generation Committee, 2,000 bags containing over 25,000 pounds of fresh produce were assembled and distributed to residents of the surrounnding community.
Volunteers helped assemble and distribute fresh produce to residents in need.
