In celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday, Hunger Free America hosted media events on Tuesday, November 22 and Wednesday, November 23 at emergency food and social service in all five boroughs.
Joel Berg, Hunger Free America CEO, joined Bronx elected officials and advocates at the Church of God of Prophecy to release the group’s annual survey and report showing the state of hungry NYC and NYS workers.
Berg and others present called on president-elect Trump to make hunger reduction a priority.
