Holy Family Sea Cadets Complete A Busy Month

Several male non-commissioned officers were escorts for the parish of Holy Family-Blessed Sacrament-St. John Vianney’s inaugural Queen of Hispanic Heritage Pageant.

The Star of the Sea-Sea Cadets, based out of Holy Family School, completed its first month with a very busy schedule. This past October, the cadets participated in the Yonkers Columbus Day Parade, the half time show for the Suburbia Women’s Roller Derby, the Bronx Columbus Day Parade, the UFT Book Fair, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Bronx Walk, the inaugural Queen of Hispanic Heritage Pageant, the Diwali Festival of Lights and a domestic violence awareness workshop in partnership with the Bronx Veterans Chamber of Commerce and Devil Dog USA, Inc.
