In honor of Veterans Day, the Bronx American Legion saluted our borough’s fallen World War I soldiers and veterans from other wars for the ‘11th Hour Ceremony’ on Friday, November 11 at the Winged Victory Memorial in Pelham Bay Park.m The emotional memorial event featured a veteran salute to the flag and the playing of ‘Taps’ to pay respects to our nation’s brave warriors.
