A hair salon is celebrating 20 years of beauty treatments at their East Tremont Avenue location.
Creative Images, a hair salon located at 3162 E. Tremont Avenue, is still going strong after two decades and continues to make their customers look good and feel great.
For two decades, the hair salon has provided great service to customers from Throggs Neck, Country Club, Pelham Bay and other east Bronx neighborhoods, who continue to come back time and time again to update their looks and hairstyles.
The business opened in 1997 and was taken over by Francesca Falciano in 2007, who worked as a stylist for three years before she became the owner.
“Over the years, we have built and continue to build great relationships with our customers – many of whom also tell their family members and friends about the salon,” said Falciano. “This is a great location and a close-knit block, with a lot of businesses assisting each other and working together to achieve the same goal – to be successful, and, most importantly, to make our customers happy.”
Falciano, a lifelong Pelham Bay resident who graduated from Lehman High School and International Beauty School in Manhattan, has been very involved in her community for many years.
In previous years, Creative Images has participated in Locks of Love, where kids can get free haircut if they agree to allow their hair to be donated to the non-profit organization, which provides hairpieces to children who suffer from long-term medical hair loss.
The salon has also donated funds to Lehman High School’s proms in past years. Falciano is responsible for stretching Throggs Neck’s Christmas lights two blocks north on East Tremont Avenue, which includes the stretch where her business is located.
She added that the past ten years in business have produced many lasting memories.
“I am so grateful for all of the experiences that have taken place here over the years,” Falciano said. “There have been some lows but many more highs – and I just hope we can continue to make our customers look their very best for many more years to come.”
Falciano is also accompanied by two other stylists, Carmen and Maria, who work at the salon part-time.
Before Creative Images took over, another hair salon named ‘Hair Biz’ occupied the location for nearly a decade.
Creative Images, which also offers discounts for seniors (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) as well as students (who show their ID) is open everyday except for Monday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Customers should call the salon at (718) 863-6376 a day in advance for Sunday appointments.
