In honor of Black History Month, Councilman Mark Gjonaj hosted Black History Month Poster Contests in eight schools in District 13.
Congratulations to students from St Joseph’s School for the Deaf Cesar Flores Galindo, Irnaldo Valle Castillo and Enrique Bruno; P.S. 175 in City Island Sarah Goonan, Leila Rexhaj and Mikayla Murphy and the students of Van Nest Academy and Monsignor Scanlan High School.
