The ninth annual Gardiner Foundation Turkey Giveaway was held on Saturday, November 17 at St. James Park. More than 1,200 turkeys and thanksgiving fixings were handed out to families most in need in the Bronx, 100 coats were given to the youth in attendance; and coffee, hot chocolate and homemade cookies and cupcakes were provided during the event.
