The Fordham Road Business Improvement District commemorated ten years of growth and service during its annual Meeting of the Membership held last Friday, February 19 inside the Bronx Zoo’s Schiff Family Great Hall. The corporation celebrated this remarkable milestone with a photo/video collage of their accomplishments. Awards and plaques of appreciation were presented to its many supporters including guest speaker Councilman Ritchie Torres. Returning the favor, Councilman Torres and New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer presented the BID with a proclamation and a commendation for their decennial. The BID highlighted its current developments, future plans and reviewed financial statements and the annual budget.
