The Throggs Neck Community Action Partnership held its first meeting of the season at 2789 Schurz Avenue on Wednesday, September 11. The meeting was held to discuss and spread awareness on Opioid addiction and what can be done to combat the issue. Representatives from Assemblyman Michael Benedetto, Counciman Mark Gjonaj, Senator Alessandra Biaggi and Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez were in attendance.
