Firefighters responded to a fire at 2623 Sedgwick Avenue on Tuesday, August 22 at 10:27 a.m.
According to tenants, one of the residents was cooking inside her apartment when she saw smoke.
The fire originated on the first floor and filled the hallways with dense smoke.
The FDNY gained control of the blaze and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
